Some tidying up of the site is under way, pending submision of drafts from a professional design company.

November 6th 2006.

The ASASA site continues to be developed in beta form. Draft content that explains the aims and objectives of ASASA is being developed. Design of the site is a concern - the organic nature of the development of sites like this can mean contributors don't notice how difficult navigation of the site might be to others, so professional advice on layout and design is being sought. In the meantime, members are asked to contribute any useful articles they would like to be published via the list.

October 6th 2006.

ASASA site submitted to various web crawlers and directories to help ensure ASASA appears as a result of search engine queries.

October 5th 2006.

Beta version of website still under development. Major overhaul of site structure. Painstaking conversion and uploading of submitted documents underway. Draft constitution posted on website.

Comments and suggestions should be sent to the list.

For anyone who is interested, all attempts are being made to ensure the site remains accessible to all users by using CSS methods when designing layout. This is not as easy as using tables, so some glitches are to be expected.

October 4th 2006.
